Sex with dead bodies isnt abuse its fucking hot!
For a band whose name is so blunt and abrasive, the group’s material is quite a bit catchier and more varied than you’d expect. “Leather Lady Lover” sounds like the filthiest Midnight song imaginable, moving at a stomping pace before hitting its gruffly sung chorus and climaxing with a bridge where a man crooning like Danzig tells a story about taking a girl home after the show. “Sex with Dead Bodies” ups the tempo considerably, recalling cult blackened speed act Syphilitic Vaginas with its galloping and demented take on old school heavy metal. Later, “Skitzoid” offers a nice bit of variety in the album’s second half, serving as a short and battering cut with plenty of frantic shouts of the track title.
The intro and outro tracks suit the rest of the album well and really prepare you for the beating you’re about to take. They don’t feel like time wasted at all. Opening track “Stab the Head” pulls a switchblade riff on you from the get-go and just really satisfies with a bouncy, filthy rhythm from Python. There’s some bone-rattling basswork on the title track and the boy’s someone how to turn the phrase “SEX WITH DEAD BODIES” into something almost sing-alongable over flangy, mind-melting guitar. I won’t spoil it all for you. There’s a lot to love in tracks like the Scorpions-on-bath salts romp of “Leather Lady Lover ” and frantic earworm “Skitzoid”. Lock the doors, draw the curtains, and bend over for the long, hard power of Shitfucker. But, please, use protection…and take a shower afterward.
